Privacy Policy

1. Data Controller
Faberlog is operated as an individual business. For the purposes of data protection law, the data controller is the operator of Faberlog. You can contact us at privacy@faberlog.com.
2. What Data We Collect
Account Data
When you register, we collect your name and email address. This information is necessary to provide you with access to the Service.
Business Data
You may enter data about your customers, jobs, work phases, payments, and other business information. This data belongs to you and is stored solely to provide the Service.
Payment Data
All payment processing is handled by our third-party payment processors, Paddle and Paystack. Faberlog does not store credit card numbers or other sensitive payment details. Please refer to Paddle and Paystack's respective privacy policies for information on how they handle your payment data.
Usage Data
We collect basic anonymised usage data (page views, feature interactions) to improve the Service. This data is not linked to your personal identity.
3. How We Use Your Data
We use your data solely to provide, maintain, and improve the Faberlog service. We do not sell your data to third parties. We do not use your business data for advertising or profiling.
4. Data Storage
Your data is stored in the following locations:
- Database: Neon PostgreSQL, hosted in the EU region (Frankfurt, Germany)
- File storage: Cloudflare R2, with data stored in the European Union
5. Third-Party Processors
We use the following third-party service providers to operate Faberlog:
- Paddle — payment processing
- Paystack — payment processing
- Resend — transactional email delivery
- Cloudflare — file storage (R2)
- Neon — PostgreSQL database hosting
Each processor acts under our instructions and is contractually bound to protect your data.
6. GDPR Compliance
Faberlog is fully compliant with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). As a user, you have the following rights:
- Right of access: You can request a copy of all data we hold about you.
- Right to rectification: You can correct inaccurate data at any time.
- Right to erasure: You can delete your account and all associated data from the Settings page.
- Right to data portability: You can export your data in a machine-readable format.

7. Data Retention
We retain your data for as long as your account is active. When you delete your account, all your data is permanently removed from our systems within 30 days. Backup copies are purged within 60 days.
8. Cookies
Faberlog uses only session cookies that are strictly necessary for the operation of the Service. These include:
- Authentication session cookies (better-auth)
- Language preference cookie (NEXT_LOCALE)
We do not use tracking cookies, advertising cookies, or any third-party analytics cookies that require consent.
